Biography:
Res (pronounced Reese) released her debut album, How I Do, in 2001. The mixture of hip-hop, rock, and soul (the hip-hop influence being the most prominent) was largely produced by Doc, who had worked on Esthero`s 1998 release, Breath From Another. Prior to this debut, RES, born and raised in Philadelphia`s suburbs, sang on GZA`s Beneath the Surface and performed guest vocals for Talib Kweli & Hi Tek`s Reflection Eternal.
