Biography:
Not to be confused with the alt-dance band of the same name, this Ladytron is a kin to the British glam rock movement of the early `70s, influenced by such groundbreakers as David Bowie, T. Rex, and Roxy Music. Comprised mostly of members from other bands, such as Brother JT & Vibrolux and the Photon Band, Ladytron (which was titled after a song from Roxy Music`s classic 1972 self-titled debut) signed on to the Shimmy Disc/Knitting Factory label, issuing a critically acclaimed self-titled debut in February of 2000.
