Period: 2000s

Biography: Proclaiming himself to be "Queens Best Secret," DJ L Gee put mixtapes together for underground release since the mid-`90s, with the likes of Funkmaster Flex and Boo tha Barba cited as key influences. Some of the mixes he released during the early 2000s included Diggin` in da Crates, From My Hood 2 Your Hood, R&B Junkies, and the Juelz Santana-hosted Urban Warfare. Some of the other MCs L Gee has collaborated with include 50 Cent, Cassidy, the Game, Mobb Deep, and Sauce Money.
