Biography:
A DJ often associated with Jermaine Dupri and the So So Def label, DJ Delz was born and raised in New York City. In his early teens he immersed himself in the music of hip-hop`s golden age, listening to everyone from LL Cool J to Slick Rick and idolizing DJs like Funkmaster Flex and Red Alert. When the mixtape game began to explode, Delz bought everything he could find by DJ Clue?, DJ Doo Wop, and Tony Touch. He soon began releasing his own mixtapes and handled the distribution on his own till names like Prodigy and Rick Ross became his hosts, taking Delz to the next level. Dupri hired him for a series of So So Def mixtapes and then Delz began releasing volumes of D187 Hood Radio, his signature street series. Delz has also hosted radio programs across the South along with AOL Radio, and has appeared on episodes of The Chappelle Show and Oz. In 2008, Delz partnered with designer Tony Stylz and announced the coming of their new clothing line, Pimpi$h Clothing.
